The Undisputed Boxing Showdown brought to you by the High Noon Gaming Saloon will be a unique experience and hopefully your new home for competitive gaming!
This event is for the Heavyweight Championship Title. The “last man standing” will receive $5,000 and the Championship trophy.
All Main Event Title Bouts will be scheduled for a 12 round match. Final or No. 1 contender bouts are scheduled for 8 rounds. Regular or bracket fights will be scheduled for 5 rounds.
Registered players pre-select a Boxer, during purchase, in each of the three chosen weight classes as those will be the Boxers you must use in the Showdown.
This event, those weight classes are Lightweight, Middleweight and Heavyweight. Later events may include more classes or replace any of the classes. This event is for the Heavyweight Title and the Heavyweight division is the Main Event. In later events, the Main Event may switch to a different division like Middleweight and the grand prize will be for that class.
On the day of the event, registered players will be placed in a randomized bracket with the Gamer Tag and Boxer exposed. The undercard matches will be played first.
The Lightweight division will go first and play down to the last two players. (This will give players a chance to see some of the fighting styles of other opponents.)
The Middleweight division will go next and play down to the last two players.
The Heavyweight division will be next up and play down to the last two players.
The Main Event will start with the undercard of the two Lightweight finalists. The winner of that bout will be declared the Number One contender of the Lightweight division, will receive $500 and a free entry into the next Boxing Showdown. The No. 1 contender will play the winner of that Lightweight event for the Title. (The No. 1 contender of the Lightweight will still compete through the brackets of the other divisions)
The Middleweight finalists will compete to be the Number One contender of that division, will also receive $500 and a free entry into the next Boxing Showdown. The No. 1 contender will only have to compete against the winner of the Middleweight division for the Title. (The No. 1 contender of the Middleweight will still compete through the brackets of the other divisions)
Last but not least the Heavyweight finalists will battle in a 12 round match for the Title, trophy and grand cash prize of $5,000.
The Champion will hold that title until he is defeated for that title. The Champ must defend the title at the next Heavyweight event. The Champ does not pay any registration fees to enter the next or future boxing events as long as he owns the title. If the Champ is unable to attend any future events then the title will go to the Number One Contender, which is the winner of that Showdown. Once the Title is held by another person that former Champ must start over in the brackets.
Gameplay will be held on the Playstation 5 gaming console.
Controllers are available, but feel free to bring your own.
Each registered player is allowed one guest due to some venue capacities, please purchase a guest ticket under the player’s name to secure a spot.
